ABOUT CHRISTINE CIPPERLY, LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

My life experiences and training have shaped my ability to relate to you with kindness and help you find a way through life's challenges. My own spiritual journey has led me to believe that by being present in a compassionate way, I can create an environment where you will be able to be more present and compassionate with yourself.

In the therapy relationship, I support you in healing and accepting yourself. By creating a safe and trusting environment, I can help you find your "authentic" voice and speak your own truth,  learn to understand your own story, and take authorship.

I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 2010. I have worked as a counseling intern at Catholic Social Services in Sacramento where I counseled low-income clients and families. I also worked as a school counselor at Holy Spirit Parish School in Fairfield, where I saw children and their families who needed emotional support and help. I have been in private practice since 2014.  I am a fully Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist accepting clients in private practice in Davis.

ABOUT STANISLAUS DUNDON, SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR

Maybe you need help with a specific life challenge or relationship issue. Perhaps you are striving to understand your life’s purpose. Christine and I work with clients of all faiths, and we also offer a spiritual dimension tailored for our Catholic clients.

Many Catholics seek an answer to the question, “What is it that God wants me to do with my life?” Answering this question, for a Catholic, requires a good deal of soul-searching but also a firm theological foundation — and an approach tailored to the individual’s needs. I can serve as your spiritual director on this journey, trusting in the Holy Spirit and using the wisdom of great spiritual directors like St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila and St. Therese of Lisieux.

I received a complete training in undergraduate and graduate general ethics, medical ethics and moral theology (Carmelite College of Philosophy and Theology) and hold a Ph.D.

My lifelong professional and personal interest in Judeo-Christian religions and spirituality and knowledge of Christian Scriptures and the Passion of Christ give me unique insight as a spiritual advisor.
